Return Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept returns for any items that have been installed or used. 

To start a return, you can contact us at returns@rttents.com to receive a return address and authorization number. You are responsible for the return shipping, but RTTents may help facilitate the shipping. In that scenario, the shipping amount will be reduced from your refund amount. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Once we have received and inspected the returned product, RTTents will issue a refund to the original method of payment. The refund amount will be the full amount paid minus the restocking fee and if applicable, the shipping fee. All products will be inspected to determine if only a partial refund can be given.

Refund Process

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at returns@rttents.com.

Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items

Clearance items and any special-order items are not eligible for returns or refunds.

Restocking Fee

As is customary in the overlanding industry, we charge a 10% restocking fee on all returned products. This is a separate fee and in addition to any shipping fees or refund reductions due to damage. 

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please see our shipping policy for more information about receiving and inspecting your delivery.
